Check This Event: Planet Wax and Kmag Bring the Dnbwear Summer Pop-up Shop Series to London [Huge Special Guests and Free Giveaway]

Fans of drum & bass fashion and the Euro scene likely know the brand Dnbwear by now. With edgy designs and collabs with artists and labels like Eatbrain, Trendkill, Zombie Cats, Coppa, et al., Dnbwear’s styling is easily recognisable in the UK and almost ubiquitous on the continent. As a DJ, producer and vocalist herself, Dnbwear CEO Mila207 is the brains behind the brand, and three summers ago she decided to take it on the road, creating the Dnbwear Summer Pop-up Series.

Starting with local pop-ups around Dnbwear’s home area of Czech Republic and Slovakia, the series is usually a day rave, featuring both local and prominent artists, a shop full of the latest designs and fun extras like tattoos on-site and pool parties. Now in their third year, they’ve expanded to tour Austria, Germany, Italy and Spain. The UK was obviously trickier with the B-word’s new regulations looming, but this year they’ve finally managed it and they’re coming in hot with a supercharged pop-up at the legenday Planet Wax in Peckham this Saturday, 21 June.

Being half retail space, half club already, Planet Wax is the perfect venue for a pop-up shop, but because it’s London, Dnbwear had to pull out all the stops. As Dnbwear often works with central Europe’s biggest festie, Beats for Love, this pop-up will be the official London B4L warmup party. The lineup for the day party, starting at 3pm, is stacked with B4L artists including Mila207 herself, Krakow neuro star Shandrill, B4L organiser and favourite DJ Beaty, London legend Alley Cat and multiple surprise guests.

One of those guests has already been announced as UK-Euro crossover trio Killer Hertz, which only makes sense since this pop-up will also be launching their merch collab with Dnbwear. This collection has some of the brand’s sickest designs to-date, and they won’t be previewed anywhere else before the show. Best to hear about said collab from the Hertz themselves:

We love what Dnbwear do! Our first live show at Beats for Love, we walked into their stall and said, ‘we’re playing the main stage tonight, do you want to give us some clothes to wear?’ Lucky us, they did! To be working with them and Beats for Love now on a new clothing range is dope! You might see us wearing some of the new clothes this year too.

Well, one would hope an artist wants to wear their own designs. The Killer boys will also be headlining the D&B stage at Beats for Love this year, so it’s a perfect time to give fans in London an exclusive preview of both the cloths and the music they’ve been working on.

Apparently that wasn’t enough, so there will also be a B4L ticket giveaway at the event. Anyone who’s there from 3-9 pm will be entered. This is what happens when a true collab comes together, and we love to see it. Stop by and check the vibes.
