Winter drum and bass festies, though popular, tend to be hard to come by for obvious reasons, and are almost always indoors, for even more obvious reasons. Whilst clubs are still kicking in the bleak mid-winter, there are only a handful of actual festivals with multiple stages and venues, and they’re always small but crowded. There’s a gap in the year here, and Slovak event company ||| Trident.sk have been working to fill it with a uinque winter festie concept along with travel and investment company, GoPass. The January 2026 GOPASS Festival sold out in Jasná in Slovakia this year, and the summer 2025 GOPASS at Mölltaler Glacier in the Austrian Alps was also a hit with huge artists like Rudimental, Metrik, Venjent, Pendulum and Pythius between the two. In 2026, Trident and GoPass decided to double the winter fun and mega-lineups with a new March festival.
The next GOPASS Festival will take place 13-14 March at Špindl Mountain Resort in Czech Republic and will also be the last of Trident’s winter sport programme. With a packed lineup of headliners like Sota, Delta Heavy, Grafix and Kanine, this isn’t just a local ski and snowboard shindig. Trident will have stages set up all over the mountain, where skiers and boarders can hear the music from the trail and fans can come party and warm up whilst skanking. It’s a wild concept one really has to see in action, but something totally unique.
Paying homage to music’s link to sport and the power of feeling that comes from both is something special that Trident has curated with GoPass, and even D&B heads who aren’t into winter sports will appreciate this cool vibe of mountain bass. For punters who do ski and snowboard, it’s obviously a match made in heaven, bringing two niche communities together for epic winter vibes. For those looking for one more big sesh before winter fades into spring, GOPASS festival is it.
