The first-ever original artist release on the already legendary imprint.
With 25 years at the forefront of sound system culture, fueled by their legendary Friday night dances and iconic DJ mix series, FABRICLIVE embarks on a new chapter with the launch of their inaugural artist release, by Sully.
“Model Collapse” serves as a perfect reflection of the label’s refreshed vision and marks a significant milestone in its ongoing journey. Sonically, it captures the essence of both FABRICLIVE’s storied past and its forward-looking direction, solidifying its role as a vital platform for innovative bass music.
Building on an unbroken streak of exceptional releases, Sully continues to push boundaries with Model Collapse, once again proving why he remains at the pinnacle of his craft with two razor-sharp jungle and D&B anthems. Drawing from his early days on the free party scene, the title track “Model Collapse” fuses caustic acid techno with the dark, intricate depths of techstep, combining sharp, gritty beats with a classic low-end wobble.
Meanwhile, “The Wash” is an exploration of tone, pitch, and harmonics. The track’s distorted synths, processed vocals, and masterful drum work reveal an artist fully in his element, manipulating sounds with a truly unique touch.

Recognized by DJ Mag as “one of jungle’s brightest stars” and hailed by Clash as “a driving force in the evolution of jungle,” Sully is a trailblazer who transcends the clichés of rave revival. With groundbreaking releases on labels like Rupture, Over/Shadow, Keysound Recordings, and Astrophonica, he remains a forward-thinking innovator in the scene.
This EP comes in a limited edition vinyl format, featuring a striking picture disc with a hand-etched design, pressed on heavyweight wax, mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis, and manufactured by The Vinyl Factory. The artwork is by London-based artist John Karborn, a long-time collaborator with Sully. “We’ve worked on several projects together, and it’s always a thrilling process. John’s a whirlwind of ideas, and I never know where they’ll take us, which is most of the fun,” Sully reflects. “FABRICLIVE is a new partnership for me, but it’s clear we’re on the same wavelength when it comes to trying something fresh and ambitious with the presentation.”
Since its inception in 1999, FABRICLIVE has hosted some of the biggest names in the game, including Andy C, Goldie, DJ Hype, LTJ Bukem, Calibre, Skream, Mala, Loefah, DJ EZ, Slimzee, Oneman, Four Tet, Aphex Twin, Hudson Mohawke, and Flying Lotus.
