Maduk ft. Veela – Ghost Assassin VIP
Dutch liquid drum & bass producer Maduk made this VIP with vocalist Veela to play out in his DJ sets but has now decided to give it away for free.
Evocativ – The Lovers (Whiney Remix)
Absys Records recently released a four track EP by ambient producers Evocativ and to help promote it they’re giving away a drum & bass remix of one of the tracks by Whiney.
Rico Tubbs ft. The Ragga Twins – Rule Dancehall (Dub Mix)
Not only are Aquasky’s label Passenger giving away this track by Rico Tubbs featuring The Ragga Twins if you like their Facebook page but also another a tune by 601 featuring Frilla.
Two Fingers – 101 South (Fanu’s Lightless remix)
In early 2013 Finnish producer Fanu asked Amon Tobin, aka Two Fingers, if he could do a hip hop remix of his track 101 South. He got the samples but the remix never really picked up for some reason and kept the samples. “This summer I went to the countryside,” says Fanu picking up the story, “and the weather was just being pretty bad. The inspiration can really hit you when you’re in the nature, so I wrote this one in a few good sittings.”
Coleco – Conduit
Bristol based label Inflect Audio are giving away this 160BPM drum & bass / footwork / trap hybrid track by label owner Coleco on their Bandcamp page. What more do you need to know?!
Hex – SlugProof
Recently we featured a mix by Glaswegian drum & bass producer and now he’s made it onto the free tracks list with this freebie on Quentin Hiatus’ Free Love Digi imprint. “Slugproof is a crisp, techy roller with lots of bounce and side helping of swagger,” says Hex describing the track.
Various – Technology LP Part One
Polish neurofunk label Voltage Recordings are celebrating their first birthday and, as is the custom these days, they’re saying thanks to their fans and followers with a free album. Technology is coming out in two parts and you can get your hands on the first part featuring tracks from Modafin, Brain Vertex, Scale Factor and Format on WAV here and MP3 here.
