Invicta Audio have established themselves as one of the front runners in the next generation of innovative labels. They have had a lucrative start since officially launching as a label in late 2020, being acknowledged as ones to watch by UKF and Drum & Bass Arena. Truly flying the flag for Bristol’s underground music scene.
The label’s previous releases, like Armada, Mercury and Excursion have showcased the rising talent within the UK’s drum & bass scene. Invicta is now back with Suspended, a four-track EP by Formula. Don’t let the length of this body of work fool you, as the four tracks have something for the whole crew, featuring a delicate balance of dark rolling basslines, a clear homage to jump-up and the all-important, well-placed Amen break. Bad Boys, a collab with Gianni, presents a unique guitar riff sample, which works refreshingly well amongst the previously mentioned styles.
