Lynx has had a remarkable rise to to top of the drum & bass scene since the release of his Carnivale and Disco Dodo singles in 2007. Released on Soul:R and Creative Source respectively, they brought him to the attention of the drum & bass public as a highly skilled, forward-thinking producer capable of making a variety of styles. His album with Kemo in 2009, The Raw Truth, only reinforced this and last year Lynx took things to the next level again by starting his own label Detail Recordings.
With Lynx headlining our next event at Fluid on 1 April we took a trip down to his studio in Chichester to talk about equipment and techniques, what we can expect from him on the night and what’s happening with Detail this year.
